Streaming audio via Roon or other services like Qobuz, Tidal, and Spotify offers millions of titles at the touch of a finger. Unfortunately, connecting your sensitive DAC to the noise generated by computers, routers, NAS, local networks, and modems via either WiFi or Ethernet cable is not a great-sounding solution to bringing high-performance audio into your listening environment. 38 years after the introduction of the CD, PS engineers have continued our quest for perfection in the art of data extraction and delivery so you can finally hear what’s been locked away in your CD and SACD collection. The PerfectWave SACD Transport (PST) is is our most advanced optical disc transport. As with the PST’s predecessors, the PWT and DMP, PST is based upon an advanced Digital Lens which electrically isolates the mechanical transport/laser mechanism of the optical disc reader, removes jitter and timing artifacts, and focuses audio data into a single, bit-perfect, timing-perfected stream to your DAC.
New to this model—and for that matter, any disc player ever made—is our galvanically isolated output stage. By coupling the output of the drive mechanism to the PST’s internal Digital Lens by nothing more than a pulse of energy across space, any hints of noise or ground contamination are eliminated. The results of this complete isolation are magical: a previously unheard level of image separation, openness, and effortless reproduction. Never have we experienced noise levels this low—a seemingly velvet blackness that must be experienced to understand.
CD, data discs, and SACD reproduction is unequaled by any other player we know of. CDs played through PST come closer than ever to high-resolution PCM and DSD, uncovering new layers of dimensionality, soundstage, depth and musicality previously unobtainable in other optical readers or server based audio systems.
Like its predecessor, DMP, PST opens the long restricted DSD layer of SACD to PS Audio DACs. PST will deliver the raw DSD layer of copyright protected SACD directly into your PS Audio DAC through I2S. This means that for the first time you’ll uncover the wealth of audio’s finest digital medium, DSD, and hear exactly what the mastering engineers who created these discs have enjoyed all along.

Whether you stream network music through Roon, Audirvana, JRiver, Tidal Direct, Spotify, your NAS, or any DLNA-compatible server, you will introduce unwanted noise into your sensitive DAC. A USB connection to the computer is by far the noisiest method, followed by a close second via Ethernet or WiFi. What is needed to completely remove this injurious noise is the elimination of any electrical connection between the computer, its network, and your DAC. The PS Audio AirLens has both an input stage and a galvanically isolated reclocking output stage. The two are connected only “through the air.” By using separate power supplies, there are no physical ground or signal connections, ensuring 100% isolation and noise-free delivery of perfect digital audio signals.
Eliminating the noisy USB to-computer connection and instead placing the PS Audio AirLens between your home network via Ethernet or WiFi will change forever the performance of streaming music. Once connected to any DAC, the AirLens interface will bring exceptional transparency, resolution, timbral realism, and wide dynamics to any D to A converter. Noise from any number of sources including your computer, long runs of Ethernet cable, EMI interference through WiFi, the system modem and router, all contribute to increased jitter and a general reduction of fidelity in the system. Connecting your DAC via its coax or I2S inputs completely removes the haze and congestion caused by these noise sources.

Our delivery charges are based on weight and are charged at royal mail rates. Once you have added an item into your basket the shipping charge should appear based on the weight of your order, initially the charge is shown from a UK resident but after you enter your personal details the shipping for your country will appear. We deliver to any country in the world, anywhere with a valid address, typical delivery times are between 3 and 7 days.
We will use the most appropriate carrier for your order, anything lost in transit will be replaced in a timely manner, all orders are sent using recognised postal carriers and couriers.
On heavy and bulky items the charges can be quite high so please enquire via e-mail or telephone us for an exact cost to avoid mis-understandings.
Delivery times are based on current workloads, we try to dispatch in stock orders within 3 days of receipt, if your order is urgent please add a note in the order comments box. Occasionally we may run out of stock of an item or if it is built to order (power supply’s, mains leads etc) it could take slightly longer to dispatch.
Shipping charges start at £1.95 for small items like plugs and connectors, heavy items cost more and need to be sent insured delivery so please consider that when the cost appears in your basket.

All items on the site (except those made to order) can be returned under the consumer contracts regulations within 30 days. Please contact us prior to returning so we can discuss your requirements. If the item has been specially ordered (not specially made) we reserve the right to charge a nominal re-stocking fee. We expect any goods returned to be in new condition complete with original packaging otherwise we reserve the right to refuse a refund. Items classed as “tailor made” cannot be returned under the regulations although Brook Audio may accept the return under certain circumstances.
Please note if you order goods from Brook Audio and live outside the EU you may have to pay import duty/taxes on your purchase. We have no control over this charge and we do not pre-pay the charges for you. We do not declare a lower value to avoid customs charges so PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO DO THIS.
We get asked 100’s of times every week for tracking numbers, these are usually a waste of time as they only tell you that the goods are progressing through the carriers system. Usually for items sent overseas the country you live in will determine how quickly your goods arrive, as an example the Spanish postal service is very very slow, the Russian customs clearance can take weeks as well as Brazil.
